Objective: The Skills Assessment is designed specifically to assess an individual's current bookkeeping competency level or identify gaps that can be used to plan further learning and development. This assessment is particularly applicable for assessing skills and knowledge levels of current and future team members at the Certificate III level and has application to those who plan to or have completed a bookkeeping or accounting qualification.

The assessment involves a series of multiple-choice questions and calculation activities on current topics relevant to a bookkeeper or business owner. On completion, a report will provide insight on training and development activities that would benefit the participant. Any identified skills and knowledge gaps can be filled through formal programs or CPE activities.
