Overview: This program explores Business Continuity Planning, with a specific focus on disaster recovery – the what, why and how. We take an action learning approach to develop your Business Continuity Plan using a template with a pre-determined structure and layout to guide you. Your coach will assist you in developing your plan. Importantly, it presents practitioners with a new revenue stream and an opportunity to engage with their clients.

Objective: The aim of this program is to explore the importance of Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Risk Management (RM) as part of a business's governance framework. The program has been specially developed to assist small businesses that may not have the time or resources to develop business plans and disaster recovery strategies in the wake of the global crisis presented by COVID-19.

You will learn the importance of business continuity planning, the elements of business continuity plans and how to develop them. You will also receive our Business Continuity Planning Tool Kit which has been developed so you can support your clients who don’t have business plans or disaster recovery strategies in place.

With effective planning and guidance, your clients will be better positioned to sustain business operations during and after the global disaster. It's time to invest resources in creating an innovative path towards a sustainable business.

On successful completion, you will be awarded a Statement of Achievement from My CPE.
